Thinking outside the bun.

Last night as I layed in bed, I had a hard time sleeping. My stomach growled, and all I could think about was the tasty food of Taco Bell! I forced myself to go to sleep, imagining the taste of a Mexican Pizza, or Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes. It was then, that I decided I would eat there for lunch today. I also offered to bring some to my hubby at work, which is probably making his day.

Remember when the Taco Bell Chihuahua was everywhere? I had all sorts of the little stuffed dogs that talked when you pressed the little button. I went on a field trip in the 5th grade I believe, and this boy in my class bought me one that said, "I think I'm in looove". It was so romantic....hehe

I honestly don't know of anyone who doesn't like Taco Bell. Everyone loves it! I can't wait to fill my belly :)

My B.F.F.s

7 weeks pregnant today, and nausea has taken it's course. Right now, I have two best friends: Ginger Ale and Jolly Ranchers. They seem to help a little :)

Cool shoes...

After becoming a mom, I've quickly realized that when I go shopping, I rarely buy for myself anymore. I go straight to the little kiddies section for Miss Tanzi. My daughter is very small for her age. She is 20 months old, and just now growing out of 12 month sizes! Buying more expensive things for her has always been a no-no, mainly because I can't stand the thought of buying her something she'll quickly grow out of. She is actually starting to grow a little, which means that I've got to start getting her some new, bigger clothes, including shoes.

This summer, all she's worn are sandals. With fall just around the corner, I figured I can't go wrong with a nice pair of sneakers :) I'd love to get her some cute little flats, but considering she's just now growing into a size 4, it's hard to find shoes like that smaller than a 5. Pink Chuck T's are what we ended up getting her, which we LOVE!

My husband loves these shoes so much that he wore them at our wedding reception! It was even my idea for his Groom's cake!!

Well, I better get back to doing laundry :P

HAVE A SPLENDID WEEKEND!

What's your name, baby?

Good morning!! Tanzi actually let me sleep in til 9:30 today, so I'm in a great mood :D

Although I'm only six weeks, we have officially picked out baby names! We knew we wanted to pick names that aren't too common, but nothing too weird of course. Dustin picked the boy's first name, while I picked the middle name...kind of? I had mentioned it as soon as we found out, but he didn't seem to really like it. Then during a movie one night, we whispered the name in my ear. I was like, "I already said that!" Hahaha! I came up with the girl's name last night while he was at work. I'm pretty excited about it. Oh, and by the way, we are keeping these names secret until it's birthday ;) We WERE going to keep the sex secret, too, but I don't think it could be possible!

I told my sister the news of us having the names picked out, and she said she had a dream about it last night. She dreamt we named our baby "Cheesy". "Cheesy Mack Bishop"! Hahahahahaha Maybe if we were famous??? Not really.

If we have twins, which I highly doubt, then we might run into some trouble. I can't really think of any other boy names I like. Or at least any that haven't become pretty common. We try to get a little creative. Like Tanzi Belle :D

A couple of the other girls names I like are Nora and Amelia, which the hubby didn't seem too excited over...I also really like boy names for girls, like Evan and Ryan.

Anyway, what are your thoughts on baby names? What do you look for and what are your favorites? Any neat family names?

Please excuse me...

...it has been a loooong time since I've been able to blog! Not a whole lot has happened in the past few months. Tanzi is now 20 months old, we took in a puppy we call Mia, and our little family is as happy as ever :) We will definitely be a lot happier in April though, cause this family will be growing just a bit bigger! I found out Sunday that I am preggers!!! We are all so excited, and slightly shocked. My hubby and I knew we wanted another soon, but I don't think either of us realized it would happen so quickly!

Now, I can't get pregnancy and everything baby off my brain. It has completely taken over! I can't stop looking at strollers, baby development, and baby names! And I'm only 6 weeks along!! Guess I should chill out a bit. My due date is April 8th, which is kinda hard to believe. I mean, it's right around the corner. I can't believe I'll have 2 kids!! Wow.

Anyway, I gotta find something to eat. Ill try to keep these posts more recent ;)

Gettin leid.

It has been a little while, but I have been a busy lady! My hubby is turning 25 on May 21st, so I have decided to throw him a Birthday Luau in our back yard! He's seems to be prettyexcited, and so am I! I've ordered leis, Hibiscus straws, flower hair clips for the ladies, and an inflatable plam tree that doubles as a cooler, all from http://www.orientaltrading.com/, for an aweswome price! I'm a 100% bargain shopper ;) Dustin picked up a few tiki torches from Wal-Mart, along with two mini table top torches from Target. I haven't been able to look atanything else, but I do recall seeing some really cute tiki man cups at a local Dollar Tree, so I might be able to find some other goodies there as well! I was thinking about making a pineapple upside-down cake to fit the theme, but then I remembered the ladies from http://www.sweetstackscakes.com/ that made my beautiful weddng cake. They make amazing cakes for any occasion, and I'd love to see what they'd have in mind for a luau! Of course, I'm trying to spend close to nothing for this party. I guess i'll just wait and see what I end up spending on everything else. I'll still have to spend quite a bit on the pineapple-ham kabobs I'm planning on making, not to mention drinks...and a birthday gift.........sigh. Anyway, it should be fun and I'm so looking forward to it!

Tanzi blowing bubbles!

My hubby and I are also very excited about our beach trip in June! He was laid off of his job for 7 months before our wedding, so we didn't get to take honeymoon. We could barely afford our wedding! This is a very long awaited trip for the both of us. Since this will be our "honeymoon", we won't be taking Tanzi to the beach with us this year. I think she may be a little too young for a long road trip like that. I don't think any of us would make it there sane! haha It definitely won't be the same without her though. I can hardly make it one full day without her! I hate to think I will ever miss out on anything she does. She learn new and funny things everyday at this age. It's easy to miss one thing! I will probably take on a couple special small trips this summer to make it up to her :)

Safari Adventure!

Yesterday Tanzi and I went to Briarwood Safari! It was about an hour long trip from our
house, and it was SO MUCH FUN! They had all sorts of animals, and we got to feed and pet
them all. We rode on this trailor thingy that was pulled by a tractor, and we rode for about an
hour? The animals came right up to us and ate right out of our buckets (or hands). At one point,
Tanzi had her whole fist in the mouth of this HUGE deer-looking thingy. Scared the crap
outta me!! Well, not really, but almost. Thank God it didn't bite down or anything! Tanzi
especially enjoyed throwing the feed at the animals, and at everyone else! Haha I have to say
that the LLAMAS were my favorite. They were so gentle and sweet, and fluffy, too! The
zebras were absolutely beautiful. Never really realized how amazing they are. The buffalo
(not sure what the plural form is? hehe), were massive, stretched ther tongues out for
their food. It was kinda bizarre. There were also chickens, pigs, antelopes, emu, ostriches, and
many, many more!

At the end of the day, we were all pooped! But it was definitely worth it :)

So, I'm waiting for some pictures to upload and figured I'd try this out! To be honest, I really
don't have anything special to blog about right now. Actually, YES, I DO! This is my first time
blogging, so let me say a little about myself.

I'm a 24 year old married gal, and a mother to a 16 month old. I've been in and out of college
since high school, but pretty much quit when I got preggers. I'd like to go school for Aesthetics
maybe, but right now would be impossible! So I guess I'll be blogging about my everyday day life
as an almost full-time stay at home momma (I work two days a week as a manager at a
fast- food restaurant).

Before I got pregnant, I was working full-time and schooling full-time, and was doing very well
for myself. I lived with three other girls and my dog Rudy, and loved my life! Then everything
changed when we (my bf of 5 months and I) found out I was PREGNANT!! We were both in
shock, and from that point on, I was totally sick, puking my guts out up until the day I gave
birth!

Now here we are! Dustin and I got married when our daughter was 11 months old, and we are
one happy family!
